With a strong background in finance and over two decades of experience supporting charitable and homecare initiatives, Kristan brings a rare blend of strategic thinking and heartfelt service to her role.

Her journey into caregiving was shaped early on by a deeply personal experience — witnessing her grandfather’s rapid decline in a personal care home. That moment sparked a desire to change the story for others. Now, at HSE, Kristan combines her love of numbers with a deep commitment to care, helping ensure the organization runs smoothly while always keeping clients at the centre.

She takes pride in being someone clients and families can rely on — whether it’s helping them navigate paperwork or simply sitting down for a cup of tea and a heartfelt chat. Her definition of great care goes beyond the basics: it means looking at the whole family, supporting caregivers, and going the extra mile in every interaction.

Outside of work, Kristan is a proud wife, mother of two, and caregiver to her own mom. She finds joy in the outdoors, whether she’s fishing, hiking, or soaking in the sunshine. Her life motto? “What we do in life echoes in eternity.”
